Bedford Acupuncture

When making an appointment for Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), you can expect that your health concerns will be heard. During your first appointment, you will discuss your health history and chief concerns with Registered Acupuncturist, Andrea McKee. Andrea will work with you to help develop a treatment plan that is both reasonable and gets results.
Why Acupuncture
If you have trouble sleeping, have rapid thoughts, heart palpitations, have IBS, or other symptoms, that is your body’s way of letting you know something is off balance. Acupuncture will help to restore that balance to your body, mind, and spirit. You will notice a better sleep pattern, a calmer response to stressful situations, and an overall more grounded feeling. If you’ve never experienced the sense of being grounded, it’s like putting your bare foot in the grass or sand. You feel it from the root up, and you will leave your acupuncture appointment feeling this same sense of peace.
Feeling nervous, apprehensive, or maybe needle-phobic? We would love to help you through this with no judgment, only compassion. We’ve helped needle-phobic patients conquer their fears! Did you know, 50 acupuncture pins can fit into one intravenous needle? They are hair-thin, and we will work with you one pin at a time!
Whether we stay in the room with our patients or allow them to rest on their own is entirely up to the individual. Your first session will be approximately 1.5 hours, and subsequent appointments are roughly 1 hour. You can expect to go over your last treatment each visit to ensure we’re on the same page with your treatment expectations. We include fire cupping (if you’d like) in each treatment!
